[ I'm New ]

No matter who you are or where you've been, you are welcome at LoamiCC.

At Loami Christian Church, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive at a LoamiCC. All you have to do from here is come as you are and find out more for yourself!

How do I get there?

We would love to have you join us this Sunday!

Our church building is located at:

309 E. Center St., Loami, IL 62661

What time are your services?

Main Worship Service

We meet at 10am every Sunday. We have kids services for infants through 5th grade.

Growth Groups

We have some groups that meet at 9am on Sunday mornings and some that meet through the week.

Click HERE for more information about Growth Groups.

Some other things you might be wondering:

What exactly is a "christian" church?

There are a lot of different brands of churches out there (i.e baptist, methodist, lutheran). But you might be wondering what a Christian Church is. We are a non-denominational church built on the tenants of using the Bible as our primary guide and unity among christians regardless of denominational affiliation. Basically that means we value the Bible as God's Word and we are welcoming regardless of prior church background.

Where should I go when I arrive?

When you arrive, make your way to the main entrance at the South side of the building. Once inside, one of our greeters will meet you with a smile and a bulletin. If you have kids, you'll want to look right after you get inside the door to find our kids check-in kiosk. After that you and your family can head into our auditorium and find a seat for the service.

To save time when you arrive, go ahead and click the gray button below to preregister your kids. You'll still need to visit the check-in kiosk when you arrive, but we'll already have all your information in the system. That way you can just search your last name and make a few quick taps to quickly check them in.

How long will the service last?

Our services usually last right about an hour. Sometimes a few minutes longer; sometimes a few minutes shorter.

What should I wear?

Clothes. That’s our only request. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside. Some of our folks dress up, but most show up in jeans. So don't worry about it. Just come as you are.

What about my kids?

Your kids are free to sit with you, but we have a great ministry for your kids called Konnect Kids  for infants-5th grade. It has age-appropriate lessons and experienced teachers that will help your child learn about God in a relevant way, while offering fun experiences that will help the teaching come alive in their hearts. Click HERE to go to our Children's page and learn more about Konnect Kids.

What's the music like?

We don’t own a pipe organ. We're not that old school. But then again, we aren't in a cutting edge city either. Our music runs right down the middle. Some classic oldies, some newer ones. Our goal with our music is ultimately to be singing songs that enable us to say, "Thank You!" to our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Will I be singled out in any way because I'm new?

You don't want to feel awkward. We get that. Being singled out in church is weird, so we won't do that to you. All we ask is that you fill out some basic information on the Connect Card that will be in your bulletin. We're not going to bombard you with junk mail and phone calls pressuring you to come back. When you fill out the Connect Card for the first time, we just send you a few emails to say thanks for coming and to provide you with some helpful information about diving deeper in your faith. We also, we'd love for you to grab a free mug before you leave!

Can I attend if I'm _____________________?

Whatever you can put in the blank, the answer is YES. If you're divorced, single, an addict, a skeptic, an atheist, broke, gay, a single parent, a blended family, etc., EVERYONE is welcome at Loami Christian Church. So come on! We'll see you Sunday!
